News Update - March 2008
The long bright days of summer are beginning to draw in but there's plenty of warmth still in the sun. The kite boarders on the estuary are enjoying the regular north-easterlies but they're a pain for Mark as he has to ride into them on the way home from work.
Both girls have done really well in their school sports, Naomi made it to the Canterbury Champs in swimming and Charlotte did the same in athletics. Charlotte is now in her last year at Primary school, they go to Year 8 here, and she has been picked as Team Captain for her house. Naomi is on the debating team for her high school.
Anita's job has been made permanent and she has a contract, so that's great. Mark is still getting to grips with the medical centre, with 50 employees and nearly 70,000 patients per year it may take some time. Mark is taking a short break from cycle racing but Anita is taking up swimming, with a view to taking her surf life saving badge in the spring.
